Western Michigan Westies is the West Coast Swing hub for West Michigan, and so far it is the only West Coast Swing hub anywhere. That is not a boast, it is an opening. Every city with WCS nights and nobody keeping track of them is a hub waiting to happen.
How it works
Where the events come from
Organizers post their nights
A venue or instructor puts their events into Dance Seekers once. They own the listing and they edit it whenever the night changes.
Their own site gets their own events
Dance Seekers feeds each organizer's events straight back to their website. No re-typing, no calendar going stale.
The hub gets everybody's
A hub pulls every night of its style in its region, its own included. That is the difference, and it is why people start here.
Hubs point at each other
Each hub carries the nearest few in the same style, so a dancer travelling out of the region lands somewhere real instead of a search box.
Everything here ultimately points back to Dance Seekers, which is where the events actually live. A hub is the front door for one style in one place.
